AVENGERS CODE OF CONDUCT

CODE OF CONDUCT

1.    AGRESSIVE BEHAVIOUR (PUSHING, SHOVING, HITTING, TRIPPING) TOWARDS YOUR TEAMMATES, COACHING STAFF, REFEREES OR OPPONENTS IS UNACCEPTABLE

2.    ALL PLAYERS MUST FOLLOW THE COACHES INSTRUCTIONS

3.    ARGUING WITH MATCH OFFICIALS IS NOT TOLERATED

4.    NEVER ENGAGE IN DISRESPECTFUL CONDUCT OF ANY SORT, INCLUDING PROFANITY, SLEDGING, OBSCENE GESTURES, OFFENSIVE REMARKS, TRASH TALKING, TAUNTING, OR OTHER ACTIONS THAT ARE DEMEANING TO OTHER PLAYERS, OFFICIALS OR SUPPORTERS.

These rules are applicable whenever you are representing the club – this includes anytime you are wearing the Avengers uniform, training, games and as a spectator.

Player Expectations at Training -

Challenging behaviour at training is difficult to manage, whilst still training an entire team.   When behaviour is an issue and disrupts training, your coach will implement consistent consequences, in an effort to encourage cooperation.

Your active participation managing your child’s behaviour at training will go a long way to ensuring a smooth, enjoyable training session for all and ideally these consequences won’t be required.

If there are particular issues why your child cannot complete these physical tasks, please discuss it with your coach and offer alternative suggestions – helping implement these at training.

We would like to emphasize that your active participation managing your child’s behavior at training will go a long way to ensuring a smooth, enjoyable training session for all and ideally these consequences won’t be required.

 Coach Expectations -

As a volunteer-run club, we are immensely grateful for the personal time and effort implemented by our volunteer coaches – our club could not run without them!

Parents please appreciate that our coaches bring a variety of skills to their role and as a Club we work with them to improve and update their skill set.

As we are a community based club, we encourage equal opportunities for all players, in keeping with our Club Values and Mission Statement.

All players are given an equal opportunity to contribute during the game and this means:

1.    All players are regularly given the opportunity to start the game

2.    All players are regularly given the opportunity to end the game

3.    All players are given, within reason, fair and equal court time
